I love today’s home office inspiration, for simple criteria: (1) It’s clean, (2) it’s elegant yet understated, (3) there’s PINK everywhere! Yes, even without being obvious, Jen of Made by Girl (one of my favorite blogs!) has made a sweet workspace for herself at home. I knew after seeing this that I immediately wanted that chair and that painting on the wall. (There’s just something about me and pink dots. OK, that didn’t come out sounding right! I digress…)
You may want to look at Jen’s house tour of her Vegas home. But I warn you: It’s utterly Pin-worthy! Take advantage of the holiday and get some Pin-ing done, I guess!
As previously mentioned, I’m still on the quest to re-doing my home work space. I’ve posted some new ideas onto my home office inspiration board on Pinterest, but my big problem is simply getting things done. Is it procrastination to not have settled for the perfect office chair, for instance? I want something not too office-y, such as Jen’s chair above. I also need some of that floral accent going on here, but where to find the right (fake!) blooms?
Looks like I’ll not be done until Christmas — eep! What can you suggest for me as I finish my space? (If you want to see my incomplete work space, you can find it here. )

One thing that I want to take away from the WAHMderful workshop is having my own “zone” where I could write and draw to my heart’s content, somewhere I could be creative and have a few minutes without being pulled away by my little ones. Most home office inspirations I see are desks against the wall and the chair is facing the wall. Is there any set-up with the back of the chair against the wall, facing the dining area or living area? Or do you think it’s better to work facing the wall, for less distraction?

I personally work facing a wall, because there’s not much space in our apartment! I do want to explore the option of working facing outwards, towards the living room, but I feel I would get distracted. I have a big print in front of my desk and pretty things as well, so those keep me happy!
Thanks for the reply!
