Back in the Country, Back to WAHM-ing!

I’m back from a one-week getaway to Tuscany, Italy, thanks to the Lifesyle Network and CalChews. This was my prize for winning the recent “4 Before 40″ challenge, sponsored by CalChews. (You can read my contest entries here and here.) It seems like ages since I wrote those posts! And now, my Tuscan adventure is over. Of course, I’ll be writing more about my trip there, in soon-to-launch posts. There was just so much to see, so many things I checked off my wanderlust to-do list, so many teary-eyed moments where I was enraptured by joy, whether from seeing Bottecelli’s masterpieces or laying eyes on beautiful cathedrals and vast vineyards.

(That’s yours truly in the photo, giddily happy about seeing the Duomo di Siena. As I wrote on my “Please ‘Chews’ Me” list, this was one of the places I’ve been wanting to see since I was a little girl. And I finally did — all expenses paid! )

I’m back to full-on WAHM-ing today, as I told my newsletter subscribers in a special email update today. It’s not been easy getting back into work mode after being on cloud 9 for the past week. Still, I’m even more excited to be back home, to get back to work. I met some incredibly passionate people on my trip to Tuscany, people who were as in love with the country, food and art as I was in love with my mission to help moms and bloggers find their bliss in blogging or working from home. I’ll share more about those people — and places — in the coming days.

I can’t wait to tell you all about the amazing places I went to. But even more than that, I can’t wait to tell you about my new insights on passion, purpose and living your dream — because that’s what I truly discovered on my trip.
