Home Office Inspiration: Hidden desk

Source: BHG.com

This office is just pure genius. If you don’t have a lot of space, this idea will work for your small space. It’s actually a kitchen cabinet hung on a wall horizontally. Instead of the usual cabinet hinges, this one has been replace with piano seat hinges. This way, the “desk” effect is created when the door of the cabinet opens at a 90 degree angle. When you’re not working, you can close the “desk” with a hinge. Genius!

Whether you’re a work-at-home mom or not, you might need a space in your home to call your own workspace. I love sharing ideas about the home, especially home offices. So if you’d like to follow my home office inspirations or (share your own!), join my home office pin board on Pinterest.com. I’ve got home office inspiration there that’ll make you drool–or at least pick up an idea or two for your own, personal space.

  1. Hi Martine,

I enjoy looking and reading your blogs since I’m so fond of interior design and arts. The site itself is so dainty as per your blog site. I hope you care to ex-link with me. I already added you to my blog list and blogs that I follow. I even subscribe you to my email.

Thank you for all the tips since I’m also a wife and a mom too!

  2. I have a board on Home Office too! Will hop over to yours to take a look :)
