OK, so obviously you know by now that I like bright, white home offices. That’s why this week’s home office inspiration is, again, another white eclectic space. And I love eclectic spaces. Our home growing up was filled with a mish-mash of thoughtfully selected pieces, thanks to my mom’s interior design expertise.
This little workspace serves as a great example of how to turn a small area in your home into a beautiful office workspace. I particularly like this workspace because it’s got lots of white, it has a frame gallery, and because it looks relaxed, modern, yet put together, not contrived. The balance of kitschy elements, like the little wooden chest of drawers and the quirky bulletin board give it a warmth, too.
I just wonder how a space like this will fare in my own home. The work desk I’m having made is white, but since my son started taking a liking to crayons, I’m fearing for my all-white space. Maybe I should resort to a paper covered desk? You tell me.
I’m really loving that chair, by the way. I saw one similar in Dimensione, I believe. The name escapes me! Does anyone know what it’s called and who designed it?
Have you got a home office that’ll inspire other WAHM-ies? I’d love to feature it!
Submit your home office for “Home Office of the Week” and I’ll feature it here on Dainty Mom with a link to your blog! Please submit the post in .txt form with all photos embedded. Thanks!
