I’m so happy to announce this next contest, especially because it marries two of my favorite things: blogging and gourmet food.

I’ve written before about Chef Tatung, otherwise known as Chef Myke Sarthou. I shall never forget his bacon-wrapped prawns, which he first served at my brother’s wedding. Yes, he makes his own bacon, and it’s divine. He also makes bread from scratch and bakes it in his own stone oven, and grows his veggies and herbs in his organic garden. His food is so fresh and flavorful, filled with all the goodness of old-fashioned home cooking. That’s why eating it gourmet style in his own home makes so much sense!

Now, when I told Tatung that I wanted to reward my mommy readers with something delicious, he said that he’d like to take part in that. After all, moms cook all the time! They deserve a night when someone else will set out fine linens and china, and whip up a gourmet meal that’s made with the best ingredients (sustainable, at that!) and prepared heartily.
